Animal Fèves
The french word “fèves“ stands for tiny figurines hidden in king cakes. It originated from a Christian story and a tradition in France which happens every year on the 6th of January. Fèves are commonly made of porcelain or ceramic. Modern versions can be made out of other materials, like pure silver which I am using here.
Nowadays there are a lot of themes and variations around fèves. I was inspired to start an animal mascotte collection using the precious pure silver and to make them lively with beautiful petite dried flowers or plants. I hope they will bring people luck and lighten up any small interior corner.
